Over the past school year, our two 4th classes have been working hard as part of the Blue Star programme. Under the 4 pillars of historical, cultural, geographical and institutional, the two classes learned all about the European Union, its 27 member states, what is does and what it means to us here in Ireland. From book creator to poster projects, the children researched and showcased all their learning.
Last month, we celebrated our Blue Star VIP Day with our very special guest Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke. In front of an audience of dignitaries, parents and other local representatives, our 4th class boys and girls presented an overview of all their hard work. Chelsea from our senior ASD class also presented her project on Ireland. Well done to all the boys and girls on this amazing achievement.
