The boys and girls celebrated Vyshyvanka Day in First Class today. The children learned how the celebration falls on the third Thursday each May. Those who celebrate, dress in traditional Ukranian clothes to honour Ukranian culture. Everyone wears Vyshyvankas (embroidered shirts) as a symbol of national identity.
