On Tuesday 28th March, 2nd class enjoyed a trip to the ancient monastery on the banks of the Shannon. On arrival, the class watched a film about the history of St. Ciaran and the site. After, the boys and girls were shown around the ancient Cathedral, the two round towers , high crosses, nine churches and grave slabs.
