Today the children in 4th class discussed the condition, Coeliac Disease. They investigated the reasons as to why people with Coeliac disease become ill when they eat food with gluten. We discussed the various foods that contain gluten and the many different gluten - free foods that are available in our supermarkets. Many thanks to Eva, her Mum and Dad for supplying our class with fantastic information sheets on Coeliac Disease and the yummy Gluten Free goodies 😋.
