On Friday May 1st 57 of our wonderful young athletes took part in the Primary School Relays organised by Longford Athletic Club at St. Mel's College Longford.
They have worked very hard over the last few weeks at training, it was a very difficult task to select final teams during trials due to all the talented students that tried out.
We had many great performances on the evening with four teams just narrowing missing out on bronze medals.
Huge congratulations to our 2nd Class Girls Team and 6th Class boys team who made the podium both with Silver medals on the evening 🥈🥈
A big thank you to the parents who brought the children to the event and to Longford A.C for such a well organised evening. We are looking forward to next year already 🌟
