We were very busy this week creating some Valentine's art.
We made some hearts inspired by Piet Mondrian. He was a Dutch artist who incorporated lots of straight lines into his work and focused on the primary colours red, blue, yellow, white and black. This links with our Blue Star programme as the Netherlands is one of the 27 Member States.
We also spent some time making Valentine's cards. We experimented with colour and pattern when designing the front of our cards and constructed a 3D heart in the middle.
